MARIS · the climate suite by Next Now Global
Credibility is the product.
Software infrastructure for carbon markets, climate compliance and verified environmental claims.
Traceability · why we exist
A tonne nobody can check is worth nothing.
Climate claims have become evidence problems. Every product here keeps the proof with the tonne, from the field to the claim.
- Participant enrolled, consent recorded SONDIS
- Activity measured at source, approved by a second person SONDIS
- Methodology rules applied, version kept CARTIS
- Serial issued once AMMONIS
- Sold on sourced claims only VENTIS
- Retired once, and the retirement is on the record AMMONIS
6 of 6 checks on record
Intelligence · the layer
One layer the whole system reads from.
Rules first. Models second. A trace of both.
CARTIS turns every standard and methodology into rules a machine can run, then lets constrained agents reason on top, with a trace of both. Its answers set the monitoring parameters in the field, inform pricing in the market and give carbon-price context to compliance.

How it works
Different requirements. Different pathways. One evidence architecture.
Carbon projects and carbon assets, through validation, monitoring, verification and issuance.
Common infrastructure
One evidence architecture.
MARIS does not push different requirements through one process. Each pathway keeps the assurance route that belongs to it — an audit, a validation, a verification, an assurance engagement, or none where none is required.
What stays the same underneath is the discipline: the rule that was applied, the evidence it was applied to, who assessed it, and the record that came out. Four layers, in every pathway.
-
01
CARTIS
Rules · criteria · methodologies · frameworks · regulatory logic
Every requirement is read once and held as structured, versioned rules, so the same standard means the same thing in every pathway.
-
02
Evidence
Data · documents · measurements · monitoring · calculations
Captured once, at source, with the contributor and the moment kept against it — and reused wherever a pathway asks for it again.
-
03
Assessment / assurance
Audit · validation · verification · assessment · review
Whoever assesses — an auditor, a validator, a verifier, an assurance provider — works from that evidence and leaves their decision on the record.
-
04
Trusted record
Certificate · disclosure · credit · declaration · compliance record
The outcome differs by pathway, but each one traces back through the assessment to the evidence and the rule it rests on.
Illustrative pathways. Schemes, regulations and assurance requirements differ; the architecture holds the rules and the evidence, and leaves each pathway’s own assurance route intact.
Beyond the tonne
Where the claim meets regulation.
Company and shipment obligations sit beside a tonne’s life, not inside it — and two more products run underneath the whole system.
Company-level obligations
Independence · by design
The system that verifies an outcome never controls what it sells for.
Asserts the outcome
Verified records are read-only downstream.
Commercialises it
Reads units from the registry and asks it to move them. Never edits a serial.
Why now
The rulebooks are being rewritten on a calendar.
Open a milestone to see who it lands on, and the product built for it.
